Greetings Players of T2T!
 
As you probably know, two leading characters from The Lord of the Rings
have long been absent from our game: Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee!
As part of our efforts to complete the saga of our level quests, that
absence is soon to change. And we need your help in making it happen!
 
We therefore announce that we will be holding a DESCRIPTION-WRITING 
CONTEST to provide the descriptions for Sam and Frodo! These are the
paragraphs of text you see when you 'look' at them. Entries will be
reviewed by a panel of Ainur, and the top 3 finalists for each desc 
will be put to mudwide vote, for our players to decide on. This is the 
chance for YOU to write the descs for two of the most famous characters
in all of fantasy literature!
 
Guidelines for the contest are as follows: 
 
    1) The descriptions must be between 5 and 10 lines in length.
    2) The descriptions must be thematically appropriate to the period
        where Sam and Frodo are at/approaching the foot of Mt Doom. They
        should be dirty, exhausted, hungry and dehydrated.
    3) All submissions should be thoroughly proofread and spell-checked
        to be considered.
    4) Frivolous/"funny" submissions will not be considered, and may
        result in unwanted administrative attention.
    5) Submissions will be accepted for two (2) weeks from the date of
        this posting.
    6) The descs need not be submitted as a pair - different writers'
        work could be chosen for Sam and Frodo's descs.
    7) There will be a prizes (to be announced) for the winner(s).
    
Mud-mail all submissions to me (Osse). The contest is open as of now, 
so get your literary gears in motion and let's see what you can do!
