Dear Players of T2T:
 
As administrators of this MUD, we have become increasingly aware that
we need to do a better job of gathering the input and feedback of you,
our players, when it comes to large changes that affect the MUD. We are
going to be looking at making some changes in the near future to improve
the gameplay aspects and fun of this MUD, and so we are going to be 
needing a lot of your feedback!
 
To that end, we have decided to implement a new system, which we are 
calling "survey". It is largely a reimplementation of the old petitions
system, but with a few important changes. New topics for discussion/
voting can only be added by the administration, and once voting is done,
approved topics don't automatically go onto any list for admin approval.
As the name suggests, this is a survey tool to let us present ideas and
concepts to our players and gather feedback on those ideas.
 
This system will be implemented in the next few days, and some topics 
for discussion should be presented soon after. We truly hope that this 
tool will become an important part of our MUD in the days to come. We 
ask that you, our players, make use of this system in the way it is 
intended - with decency, respect and positive intentions, as a tool 
for directly interacting with us and making this game a beter place. 
That's the nice way of saying it. The realistic way (sadly) is: 
intentional abuse of this system, or using it as a means to demean 
and attack others, will meet with very unfortunate results.
